Why I Lowered the Rent on 18 Leases

I have lowered the rent on the last eighteen leases that came in front of me.

The reason is that I like having good tenants, and times are tough on people right now. Those two things are related, and I think a lot of landlords miss it.

If what you want is a squatter, a problem, some kind of nonsense where you are evicting somebody, hunting for new people and overcharging them to make up for the last mess, that is available. Push the number to the top of what the market will bear and you can have all of it.

I rented out my five hundred thousand dollar house for two thousand dollars a month. That will not make sense to a lot of you. It has worked for me.
